The ads blocked the playing field so badly in one test game that it could not be completed. Some of the demos and online games did not work during one test. Although the name of this site is tempting, it's really nothing more than a fancy advertising scheme. You enter your personal information (including mailing address and phone number--why is that?) and choose the categories you're interested in--such as "books," "videos," or "adult." You then get a sweepstakes entry for every time you visit the Prize-O-Matic site or click on the confirmation link in the advertising e-mails you receive in your chosen categories. The prize list includes MP3 players, Sony Playstation 2s, and DVD players. Even a Lexus. Clever? Yes. Worth your time? Sure, if you don't mind getting an in-box full of ads.

FunkyPages is a site brimming with games, optical illusions, videos, and silly songs and poems. Many of the features are a bit--how shall we put this--lame, including a mathematical equation proving that girls are evil and top ten lists such as "Top 10 signs you bought a bad Christmas tree" ("While you sleep, it gets liquored up and takes the family caravan for a joy ride"). The site includes some pretty juvenile parodies of Osama Bin Laden, calling him such clever names as "diaper head" and "homo." However, this site is sure to be a hit with the junior high crowd.
