The section for newly diagnosed people helps answer the questions that a diagnosis of cancer may bring, while the section for people living with cancer and caregivers includes live events with leaders in the cancer community and information on clinical trials. Don't let the name fool you. The American Heart Association’s site covers a lot more than high blood pressure, including low blood pressure, strokes and diabetes. The site includes everything you need to keep your ticker healthy, from heart-healthy recipes to listings of specialists, plus information on hundreds of key terms, from ACE inhibitors to Zestril. Members can record blood pressure online, keep health records in one place and record weight, cholesterol, and glucose levels. A message board lets surfers connect with the site's specialist, Dr. Thomas Pickering. The information presented on this site is well-written and easy to understand and the site is easy to navigate.
